Course length: 3 day(s) A comprehensive look at the concepts of ITIL, V3 including the processes and functions required to plan, design, develop, deliver and improve IT service management and the role of each of the Service Lifecycle phases to ensure ITSM best practices. This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of Information Technology Service Management per the v3 Global Standard Infrastructure Library and is focused on the basic terms, concepts and relationships between ITIL processes. The course highlights the new service lifecycle approach that outlines the importance of planning and designing new and changed services as well as implementing and supporting those services. COURSE INFORMATION: The ITIL Foundation V3 course includes copies of the training material as well as reference documentation. Course delivery of three days with lectures, discussion, team exercises and quizzes. This class is designed to provide a comprehensive view of ITIL, per the current V3 books, including that which has been covered in the V2 body of work and that which is the new in the V3 body of work. WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS? Students who do not have confidence in their level of ITIL Knowledge as evidenced by a out of date certification ( i.e. longer than 6-9 months) and/or a lack of use of ITIL practices and process interactions in their day to day environment, or who simply have a need/desire to reacquaint and reinforce their exsisting learning while absorbing the new.
